Meat me in the Middle is a class dedicated to exploring the cuts that come from middle section of the animal. Join Rusty & friends at our favorite brewery for a demonstration of how to break down the Pork Middle, Rib Loin, and Strip Loin. They’ll highlight the popular and lesser-known cuts of meat from these sub-primals, discuss the nuances of butchery, and answer your butchery & cooking questions!
This interactive class runs from 10:00AM - 12:00PM, afterwards class attendees enjoy a lunch of Big Green Egg grilled cuts from the class, Southern vegetables, and a tasting of beverages made by Second Self Beer Company.
Each participant will have the opportunity to assist with butchering and will take home a selection of cuts from the class! You only need to bring your enthusiasm, questions, and appetites!
$160 per person. Classes are held at Second Self Beer Company.
Please, no open-toe shoes or excessive jewelry.
