Pine Street Market Hog Wash Brine is packaged in a 12 oz portion, which is enough for 12 pints of brine. This product is gluten free.
Hog Wash Brine
In a large pot over high heat, add 24 cups (1 1/2 gallon) of water and 12 oz. of Hog Wash, and bring to a boil. Turn down the heat and simmer until the mixture completely dissolves. Cool to room temperature and refrigerate overnight.
Only use the brine when it is cold! Brine the meat under refrigeration for an appropriate time (see below) and discard the brine after you remove the meat. Pat the meat dry and it is ready to cook, requiring no additional seasoning!
