About
We are proud to co-host a class with our friends from Châtel Farms. Founded by legendary beef expert, Francois Leger, this family-owned operation delivers true pasture-to-plate beef raised without antibiotics or growth hormones and is birth, raised, and processed right here in Georgia. Raising cattle in this manner allows them to grow at a natural pace which results in more flavorful, tender beef with exceptional intramuscular marbling.
We will discuss what makes this Georgia Grown beef the best around as we have an open beefy discussion with our friends at Châtel Farms. As we lead the discussion, we will butcher several sub-primals from Châtel Farms: Angus Ribeye Loin, and the lesser-known cuts of the Angus Chuck Clod and American Wagyu Chuck Roll. Get tips & tricks for cooking the perfect steak at home - proper temperatures and various cooking methods, including the Big Green Egg and on Lodge Cast Iron.
This class runs from 10:00AM - 12:30PM, afterwards class attendees enjoy a lunch of grilled various cuts of beef from the class, Southern vegetables and a tasting of beverages made by our neighbors, The Lost Druid Brewery.
Each participant has the chance to cut and take home their own freshly cut steak!
